Arabic scale in F#

A very unusual piece in my shop. A flute with the traditional construction but with an Arabic scale rather than the usual pentatonic minor.

I personally love this scale on this flute and wouldn’t consider it more difficult to play in itself, though it may need to get used to that particular melody with musical intervals which may sound foreign to what our ears are used to.

Which is also, of course, what makes this flute unique and gives it its mystical character.

Elderberry body, walnut mouthpiece and block.
