My deer skins are from wild animals from Scandinavia and are sourced through seasonal hunts. As such, all of them have bullet holes which I do sometimes include in the drum's side in order to use as much of the the skin as possible.

They are fixed and safe, thus pose no risk whatsoever to the instruments safety neither affect the sound.
