Deer skin drum / SOLD!

This is one of the 'Holy Tree Workshop trademark drums'.

Both the skin design as well as the gemstone woven directly into the lacing are complex methods which I-over the years- evolved into a unique artform.  It still is, however, a very lengthy procedure with many small and bigger steps involved for such a drum to come into existence. Due to the unpredictability of the natural materials I work with, not always this process ends up successfully.  This one did!
