Reindeer skin drum

Perhaps once or twice a year I drum like this comes to be in my workshop. An instrument where I don’t care about the time spent but follow what it wants to become the whole way through. Choosing the skin, the frame, scouting for the right gemstone and motive to paint.. 
 
The result is something deeply satisfying to my artisan heart.It is where art, music and spirit meets in one form. A powerful guide in the hands of the right person.
